This intensive 30 hour course focuses on inspiring new possibilities and facilitating breakthrough as a yoga teacher.  The program is open to all current yoga teachers and anyone who is interested in deepening their practice.  The exercises and techniques offered will help you to teach effective techniques to hone your skills and to reveal your excellence as a Yoga Teacher.  A challenging and uplifting training, the Seat of the Teacher will move you into your Seat – the place where you can speak from your own true experience – using your true voice will clarity and confidence.

Adjustment Lab – You will learn to touch students with sensitivity and confidence to create radical shifts in their practice.   A variety of highly effective adjustments will be offered for standing poses, backbends, inversions, twists and seated poses.

The Mystery of Sequencing – You will learn how to compose series of postures most teachers ask.  Why do we do this pose before that pose? How do you or what poses should you do after deep backbends? When should you do arm balances in a one-hour class.

The Power of the Heart – We will contemplate how the power of our heart is our greatest tool as a good yoga teacher.  Through group discussions and personal journaling, we will touch on the philosophical aspects of the Yoga Tradition and learn how to use this ancient practice as a practical method to guide students with heartfelt sincerity in a modern context.

Credits:
For those taking the Ysynergy 200 hour TTC, this constitutes 30 hour credits to your certification plus 5 hours of practical teaching and assignment after the course.

About Patrick Creelman
Patrick teaches classes and workshops internationally in the Anusara tradition.  He is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (EYRT-200) with Yoga Alliance.

It was during his studies at Mt Madonna that Patrick met Johnd Friend and was introduced to the heart opening and therapeutic powers of the Anusara Yoga Method.  Since that meeting, Patrick has been a student of John Friend and has studied with him in the US with him throughout the world: Costa Rica, Canada, Taiwan, Japan, U.S.A. and Hong Kong. Patrick completed John’s Level 1 Teacher’s Training twice, Level II Teacher’s Training, Advanced Intensives in Tuscan, Yoga Therapy Training and numerous workshop throughout the world.  Through the Universal Principles of Alignment and the Tantric Philosophy of looking for the good in all things, Anusara has shifted Patrick’s life spectacularly and he feels greatly indebted to his teachers and his teachers' teachers.
